Google and Open Reply announce partnership for Google Apps Premier

Open Reply to offer cloud computing solutions based on Google technology for medium and large Italian enterprises

Google and Open Reply, a Reply group company specialized in Open Source technology and web 2.0 online solutions and services, have today announced a partnership for Google Apps Premier, Google’s suite of online communication and collaboration tools.

According to the agreement, Open Reply will offer the Italian market complete solutions based on Google technology, aimed in particular at medium and large enterprises.

Google’s technology allows businesses to significantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of collaboration and communication both inside the company and with the outside world, allowing employees to access email and work-related documents from any device connected to the Internet, fixed or mobile, and to work offline as well.

Benefits of Google Apps Premier, such as eliminating the need to continually update internal storage resources and the secure management of email and applications inside Google data centers, make this technology the ideal solution for both medium and large enterprises as well as for SMEs, who can achieve continual cost reductions by eliminating, for example, the need to maintain an expensive IT infrastructure to guarantee business continuity.

Open Reply’s strong competencies in the area of solutions development and systems integration, combined with Google Apps Premier technology will allow for personalized solutions that meet the specific needs of individual organizations.

Furthermore, Open Reply’s experience with other Google applications, such as Google Search Appliance, will enable even more innovative service offerings in the area of cloud computing.

The Google Apps Premier suite offers subscription web services (40 euro per user per year) for communications and collaboration, aimed at enterprises of all sizes, using cloud computing technologies.
